I haven't been able to install Island Paradise and play it since it's launch last week. Ī detailed description of what is occurring: When I use the Origin download manager to try to download Sims 3 University Life and Island Paradise, I receive an error message that the games can not be downloaded. I do have Pets but it is no longer showing up in my library, I also have University Life and Island Paradise, but neither of those two will download or install.Īny error message received: "We're sorry, an error occurred while trying to download your game. My game is updated to the most recent patch and I have no custom content installed.
I've tried uninstalling all my expansion packs and it doesn't work.
I've tried multiple times with the disk but the disk still doesn't work.
A detailed description of any troubleshooting you have already attempted: I've uninstalled and reinstalled origin. So I registered my product online so I could download it off origin but I keep recieving this error message and I am unable to install this expansion pack. I put the disk in my computer then it spits it back out about 20 seconds later without showing up on my desktop. (I wanted an updated version of the The Sims 3 disk because my original disk is from 2009) While the Sims 3 downloaded perfectly fine, Island Paradise does not want to download at all. A detailed description of what is occurring: I recently purchased the hard copy of The Sims 3 Plus Island Paradise. Any error message received: DOWNLOAD ERROR "We're sorry, an error occurred while trying to download your game.

A detailed description of any troubleshooting you have already attempted: Restarting, doing a manual uninstall/ re-install of Origin, uninstalling all custom content, patching and updating everything that could be patched or updated (all were up-to-date anyways). Supernatural launches and runs flawlessly but I am still unable to start the download for University Life. I downloaded and installed Supernatural through Origin and everything went fine, but when I tried to start the download for University Life I got the error message above. A detailed description of what is occurring: I bought The Sims3 Supernatural & University Life expansion packs on June 30th as digital downloads for Mac. Any error message received: " Download Error/ We're sorry, an error occurred while trying to download your game. Expansions you have/have active: The Sims 3 Supernatural. Processor, Memory and Graphics card information: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 / 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 / AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB. Are you opted into the Origin Beta? Yes/No: No.
